Deep in the Ozarks, where superstition hangs thick off the mountains and the only sound is the ground shifting under your boots like an ancient creature below is turning over in its slumber. 

In this land of secrets and places marred by ritual, where places like Devil’s Den, Devil’s Backbone, and Devil’s Kitchen, exist to remind every one of a forgotten time before, something long forgotten is rising up from below. 

Something that moved through the hollows at night and left no tracks, it just laid in wait, and under the full moon, in the right hollow, the pyre is lit and the wolves howling sounds from the tree line. 

Paul Prater on tribal drums and rumbling vocals. Marcus Fisher keeps rhythm guitar and commands the mic. Colby Fahr rides the lead line like a wolf on the prowl. Wilhelm Naimon holds the ground beneath them all with his bass and low chant keeping the ritual steady. Together they forged the self-titled debut Direwolf (2024), which earned a place on the Weedian: Trip to Arkansas compilation via "Blood on the Snow." Their second album, Winter Rituals, clawed its way to #25 on the Doom Charts upon its release in September 2025.

A wall of wolves cry in the night.
